About the Provider

Makenna Francis, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Makenna Francis is a board-certified psychiatric provider who blends traditional, evidence-based psychiatry with innovative approaches grounded in neuroscience, cognitive longevity, and whole-person wellness. Her practice is built on the belief that mental health is not only the reduction of symptoms, but the optimization of the mind, nervous system, and identity over a lifetime.

With a medical foundation as a registered nurse and specialized training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Makenna provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and thoughtful integration of supplements and lifestyle interventions. She values a balanced approach: medications when appropriate, natural strategies when possible, and always individualized care.

Makenna has a deep passion for longevity — not just living longer, but living sharper, clearer, emotionally resilient, and cognitively strong. She teaches clients how to improve attention, emotional regulation, memory retention, and nervous system awareness. Her work incorporates evidence-based habits such as sleep optimization, lab monitoring, metabolic health, strength and agility training, and personalized supplementation.

She believes the brain is adaptable at any age, and that attention and cognition can be strengthened the same way we train muscles: with intention, practice, and the right support system. Her care focuses on helping clients understand themselves, build confidence, and experience more joy, presence, and connection in their lives.

Makenna offers a warm, direct, and honest style that makes clients feel seen and supported. Her mission is to help people feel like themselves again — with greater clarity, creativity, and control over their lives. Whether through medication, nutrition, attachment work, or innovative attention training, her goal is always the same: long-term mental and cognitive well-being.
